Galaxy S4 release date in a week

Samsung Galaxy S4 is scheduled to be available on April 16 for pre-orders. GS4 will feature a bigger screen (5-inches as opposed to 4.7 on Galaxy S3), but despite bigger size will be thinner, lighter and stronger. New features like eye-tracking, motion scroll and Air View are just some of the significant additions to the new phone that is expected to make the first two versions of Galaxy obsolete and GS3 outdated. However, the most upgraded feature will be the GS4 menu. The Full HD Super AMOLED display technology on Galaxy S4 is a major improvement on the already impressive earlier AMOLED editions. Instructions will be provided on how to save money on wifi.

Latest Hockey Technology

Hockey is a sport invented in its modern form in the 19th century, with few technological advances since then in areas other than player safety. But can modern tech be helpful to hockey players? Below are the three coolest hockey inventions.

ThermaBlade: Heated to approximately 41 degrees, it allows players to skate faster with less effort by slightly melting the ice.

SlapShot XT: A dynamic hockey stick robot capable of delivering repetitive slap shots at up to 110 mph. This is a blessing for hockey goalies who are not able to practice against a difficult "opponent" on their own, similar to the way baseball players could for decades.

Spring-Loaded Ice Skate: When a skater steps on the ice, the skate springs compress, storing kinetic energy that is released when the skater takes a stride. By placing springs under the toe and heel, the back of the blade can move at a different rate than the front, making the skate faster and more responsive.

Samsung Galazy S4 will use 8-core Exynos 5 Octa chip

Samsung Galaxy S4 will use the 8-core Exynos 5 Octa chip. Comprised of two sets of four cores, the Exynos 5 Octa is geared toward keeping things moving fast and fluid, even when multiple applications are running on your smartphone. Galaxy S4 looks to be a big improvement over S3, which itself was a big hit and the biggest competitor for the iPhone.

The 5 Coolest Inventions of 2012

AppTag smartphone laser tag

This is paintball on steroids. Not only can you shoot each other (without inflicting pain), but this halo-style game comes with health kits, body armor and ammo packs. It's war without having to come home a cripple.

GoPoint GL1 auto diagnostics
Until now, when something went wrong with your car, the only notice you got was seeing a notice that asked you to check engine. Seeing as most of us are not car mechanics, we might as well get sign that said, "duuude!" But no more - with this new invention, people will able to diagnose their car quickly when they are on the road. Can you drive to the mechanic or should you get a tow truck? Now you'll know.

Laser theater

Want to have a 70s style disco party at home or a laser show on your wall or ceiling? Maybe even a planetarium right in your house? Now you can. What was possible only for museums and night clubs is now possible for in the privacy of your home.

Motion-Activated Screw Driver

For those of us who look lost in Home Depot and joke that we can't even put a screw in the wall... now we don't have to. Twist the screw driver slightly to the right and it will tighten the screw. Turn it slightly to the left and it will loosen it.

Enable Talk Gloves

Mute and/or deaf people could talk to each other before using sign language. But most people don't understand it, so how could they communicate with the rest of the world? The gloves are equipped with sensors that recognize sign language and translate it into text on a smart phone, which then converts the text to spoken words.
